Blue Willow UPDATE

Welcome back Blue Willow families!

Our staff and students have been hard at work continuing the quest of learning and growing together at Blue Willow.  Classrooms are buzzing with inquiry, collaboration, and student engagement!

Please ensure your child(ren) have the opportunity to fully participate in their learning by arriving to school on time.  Supervision begins at 8:10 a.m. and school begins promptly at 8:25 a.m.

Parents and Guardians are able to monitor reported school bus arrival times by accessing Student Transportation Services of York Region at www.schoolbuscity.com.
When driving your child(ren) to school please be reminded that vehicles cannot be parked along the curb of our emergency entry/exit doors. Also, with the varying weather conditions, please be mindful of our children and alter your driving speed and travel to ensure the safety of all.

All Public schools in York Region follow a Safe Arrival Program. This requires that we verify every child's absence on a daily basis. If your child will be away from school, it is very important that you report your child(ren)’s absence to the office by calling (905) 851-0043 or by submitting the information on EDSBY.

With the variance in weather conditions, please ensure your child(ren) are prepared to enjoy the outdoors during recesses.  Remember that recess is your child(ren)'s opportunity to practice their social skills independently, enjoy winter play, and breathe in the fresh air!
