Dear Parents/Guardians:
Blue Willow Public School will be participating in the Terry Fox Run this Friday,
September 23, 2016. All students are encouraged to participate. We will
start our walk at approximately 1:30 p.m., shortly after a brief
assembly.
The Terry Fox Run is a very important annual event at Blue
Willow in support of cancer research. Our school community has raised
approximately $22,000 since 2003. With every nickel we raise, we hope to one
day find a cure for this disease. We are so proud of our past efforts so let’s
keep this tradition going.
We are asking you to please donate on line at http://www.terryfox.ca/BlueWillowPSWoodbridge
Donations will continue to be accepted up to two weeks after our walk. Remember,
everyone’s life is touched by cancer. Our goal, this year is to raise $1,ooo
and beat last year’s grand total.
