Oh Canada! In
this special anniversary year, let’s show our Canadian pride for one of
our greatest heroes – Terry Fox.
Dear Parents/Guardians:
Blue Willow Public School will be participating in the Terry Fox Run/Walk on Thursday, September 28, 2017. All students are encouraged to participate. We will start our walk at approximately 1:45 p.m., shortly after a brief assembly.
The Terry Fox Run is a very important annual event at Blue Willow in support of cancer research. Our school community has raised approximately $22,000 since 2003. With every nickel we continue to raise, we hope to one day find a cure for this disease. We are so proud of our past efforts, so let’s keep this tradition going.
Donations will continue to be accepted up to two weeks after our walk. Remember, everyone’s life is touched by cancer. Our goal, this year is to raise $1,ooo and beat last year’s grand total.
