Students who are moving from
Grade 8 to Grade 9 often face new challenges, questions and concerns,
especially for students with an IEP.
As such, the Special Education
Department at Emily Carr S.S. is pleased to offer a
Welcome to Grade 9 Event
for incoming students with an IEP and their parents
on May 4 from 6:30
to 8:00 pm.
During that evening senior ECSS students will lead a tour and
talk about high school with Grade 8 students, while parents receive
information about high school and special education support along with a tour
of the school.
